Surrounded by hawboere, characterized by the sand and the North Sea, and fjordboere surrounded by the gentler fjordland to the east.

Made from 42% Svedjerug, 11% spelt and 47% Odyssey spring barley and aged in a fresh virgin American oak barrel, with only 1078 bottles. Not cold filtered and natural color grown and brewed at Gyrup.

This bottle is crafted from carefully selected oloroso sherry casks and a single bourbon cask, distilled from the 100-year-old Danish barley variety "Imperial," harvested in 2019.

The Imperial barley adds pronounced citrus notes and a distinctive grain aroma that beautifully complements the fruity sherry cask notes in the whisky. The nose reveals a rich bouquet of ripe strawberries, red berries, and vanilla. A fine example of the exceptional quality offered by our historic Danish barley variety.
