  Palo Cortado has been a long mission that started more than 7 years ago when Mosgaard built the casks, which are matured with their own Sherry from scratch. So the fact that this work is now producing such great results shows the result of their dedication to detail. Not only at the World Whiskies Awards has Mosgaard Palo Cortado been noticed. In Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2023, Palo Cortado has been awarded a "Liquid Gold Award" and as he writes, it has the potential to be next year's "best whisky in Europe".
