Chase Distillery sits in the English countryside, where William Chase grows most of his own raw material. That makes Chase Gin a rarity in the category: a gin where both the base spirit and several botanicals come from the same farm, giving an unusually clean, earthy character.

History & Background

William Chase built his first fortune around Tyrrells crisps, which he grew from scratch into a major brand and sold. With the proceeds he founded Chase Distillery in Herefordshire in 2008, starting with vodka before turning to gin. The distillery has since become one of England's most respected, with a focus on sustainability and the shortest possible path from field to bottle.

Production & Style

The base is distilled from the farm's own potatoes into an unusually clean neutral spirit, then redistilled with juniper, apples and a set of classic botanicals. Variants like Chase GB Extra Dry and Chase Seville Orange build on this base with different citrus and spice profiles.
