Famous Scottish whisky brands like Ardbeg, Bowmore, Highland Park, Macallan and all the others shine on the shelves. In rows next to these are Japanese, Indian, Irish, American, and even Danish whisky. But even though the shop is called whisky.dk and can supply pretty much everything within the world of whisky, it also has the country's largest selection of quality rums such as Angustura, Diplomatico, Ron Zacapa and many, many more. In addition, the store serves up a wide range of both gin, cognac, tequila and all sorts of other high-quality spirits. A fully-renovated spirit mecca There is not much left of the cattle pens in the beautiful, atmospheric liquor store in Sjølund. Nevertheless, the completely renovated premises once housed dairy cattle in long rows! Whisky.dk has recently had growing pains and the physical shop moved from a narrow 160 square meters to a full 500 square meters of sumptuous liquor experience. Today, the rows of cows have been replaced by endless rows of good bottles. In the middle of the shop, between all the tempting shelves, are long tables used for Master Classes and tastings, and where customers can enjoy a taste. The shop offers free tastings of over 100 different liquor brands. Big-time expertise Behind whisky.dk are Ulrik Bertelsen and Henrik Olsen, who both have over 15 years of experience in the spirits industry. Whisky.dk started as a small online business in 2012, and has grown exponentially since. The company has won the Danish growth and entrepreneurship award, the Gazelle Award, two years in a row. From the beginning, it has been a necessity to expand with skilled employees who pull a large part of the load — both in everyday life and at the big events that whisky.dk is responsible for. In addition to using their huge know-how to guide customers in the shop in Sjølund, Ulrik and Henrik often share their knowledge at both tastings, fairs, whisky tours, auctions and also to discerning collectors from around the world who require expertise at their fingertips. Brick-and-mortar and online Although the beautiful shop in Sjølund has an impressive selection, most of whisky.dk's trade takes place online. Here you will find absolutely everything in quality whisky and spirits, so our tagline “… so you don't have to look any further” is spot on. Customers from all over the globe shop online 24 hours a day, and as the company takes great pride in both fast and safe delivery, it is always bustling in the packing area in the store, where cellophane, bows, cards and large quantities of bubble wrap accompany the good drops into the world. Country-wide events In addition to running both a shop and an online store, Whisky.dk also holds big events around the country, where guests have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic atmosphere and taste a huge selection of good spirits. The fairs include both Whiskymessen in Kolding at the beginning of March, the Rum and Cocktail Festival in May and the Whisky and Rum Festival in October. Denmark is and certainly always will be a cycling nation, and in 2018 Denmark's longest cycling route, called “Østersøruten” (the Baltic Sea Route), was inaugurated.
In addition to being Denmark's longest cycle route, the route is also a wonderful insight into Denmark's history, where you go past local and national attractions. The route moves from the Danish-German border across Als, the South Funen Archipelago, Lolland-Falster, South Zealand, southern Funen and eastern South and Southern Jutland to return to Padborg and the border countryside.

We're in the shop from 11:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday-Thursday, and Friday from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. We accept most credit cards, MobilePay and cash.
Likewise, we're also open on the first Saturday of every month from 10 AM to 3 PM.
We always have a minimum of 1500 bottles of whisky in the shop and a huge selection of rum, gin, beer, port wine and sherry. You can also simply order from home via our website and pick it up in the store.

Is it safe to purchase from Whisky.dk?
Absolutely. We have been in the whisky business since 2001 and want to deliver both the best products and customer service. We are also an e-mark certified shop, providing you access, free of charge, to their Consumer Hotline every weekday between 9 AM and 3 PM.

What about cancellations and guarantees?
You have 14 days to cancel your order when you shop on whisky.dk.
The cancellation deadline expires 14 days after the day you received your item, or have received the last item in the case of an agreement for several items ordered in one order and delivered separately.
You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notice must be given by sending an email to: info@whisky.dk with your order number.
