Spirited Union XO Colombia Cask Rum is part of the distillery’s exclusive Rum Cask Series, combining Colombian rum with a unique finish in specially treated casks. The rum is made from sugarcane juice and molasses sourced from the Valle del Cauca region in Colombia, known for its fertile volcanic soil and tropical climate.

After up to three years of aging in Colombia, the rum undergoes an additional two years of maturation in Amsterdam, where the casks are preconditioned with roasted coffee and rum. This method adds complex notes of dark chocolate, coffee, dried fruits, and spices, with a warm and lingering finish of caramel and oak.

The flavor profile offers aromas of toasted oak, red fruits, and coffee, while the taste balances sweetness and spice with depth and finesse. The rum is column-distilled and bottled at 40.5% ABV, making it suitable for sipping neat or as a base in refined cocktails.
