Spirited Union XO Colombia is a Colombia Rum, finished in coffee-seasoned casks, bottled at 40.5%.

The rum comes from Valle del Cauca in Colombia, where it is distilled on column stills from both sugarcane juice and molasses and matures tropically for up to 3 years in ex-bourbon casks. It is then shipped to Spirited Union's own distillery in Amsterdam, where it is finished for up to 2 years in tailor-made casks pre-conditioned with roasted coffee and rum. This "continental ageing" method gives the rum a subtle yet distinct coffee character that sets it apart from traditional, unflavoured Colombian rum.

The result is a sophisticated, complex rum, where coffee and caramel meet toasted oak and a light red fruit note.
