Matahiwi Estate

In the Wairarapa region on New Zealand's North Island, where a cool climate draws out slow, complex flavours in the grapes, Alastair Scott founded Matahiwi Estate in 1998. The family's vision was simple: let the terroir speak, without unnecessary intervention. This is wine that tastes of a place you rarely hear about but should take notice of.
