  Rampur Asava Single Malt Indian Whisky is an Indian Single Malt Whisky matured in American bourbon barrels and then finished in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks, bottled at 45%.

  The wine cask finish is the first of its kind from Rampur and gives the whisky a wine-like, almost fruit-forward character that balances the classic bourbon sweetness from the first maturation.

  The nose offers red berries and a hint of grape, underpinned by vanilla from the bourbon barrels.

  Palate

  The palate is full-bodied with dark berries, a touch of tannin from the wine cask and an underlying caramel sweetness.

  Rampur Double Cask Single Malt Indian Whisky is an Indian Single Malt Whisky matured in both American bourbon barrels and European oak sherry casks and bottled at 45%.

  The two cask types mature separately before being married, so the vanilla and sweetness from the bourbon barrels meet the dried fruit and spice of the sherry casks. The result is a round, approachable whisky that shows what the high-altitude Himalayan climate does to maturation.
