White Horse Whisky

White Horse is the name that carried Islay whisky's reputation out into the world, long before single malt became fashionable. Created by the eccentric Peter Mackie in 1861, with Lagavulin at the heart of the blend, White Horse was one of the blends that genuinely opened up export markets for Scotch whisky. The white horse on the label remains one of whisky history's most recognisable symbols.

    About the product

Today it's as much a collector's item for whisky enthusiasts as a piece of everyday bar kit — both uses work well.
