  On the nose, the heavy, dark notes come rolling in: burnt sugar, liquorice, molasses and a hint of toasted wood. It’s deep, dense and almost syrupy — like a dark caramel sauce that’s been left on the pan for just a moment longer.

  The palate is round and full from the very first sip. You get layers of brown sugar, liquorice root and dark caramel, followed by a slight bitterness from the molasses that gives the rum backbone and character.
