  The whisky is matured in 50 liter barrels made from staves that have previously been used to age French Merlot wine. The maturation leaves the whisky with a fine vinous note of red fruits, extra sweetness and a slight bite of tannins. A whisky with a deep blush color and a character all of its own.
  
  100% Marris Otter is used as the barley variety. The variety guarantees a recognizable, biscuit-like taste and a fine, rounded sweetness.
