Ezra Brooks Whiskey has been produced since 1957. The main figure, Ezra Brooks, was born and raised in Kentucky. In 2018, Ezra Brooks found its new home at Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky's idyllic bourbon capital.

The impressive 17,000 square foot distillery, which includes a 43-foot-tall custom-built copper still, also produces Rebel Yell, Blood Oath, and David Nicholson. Currently, we have the following two variants in our range: Ezra Brooks Straight Rye Whiskey 45% and Ezra Brooks Black Label.

Ezra Brooks 99 Proof Port Wine Finish is a characterful bourbon whiskey with a unique flavor profile and a high alcohol content of 49.5%. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon is produced by Lux Row Distillers and is based on a classic rye-forward mash bill consisting of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley.

The whiskey is first traditionally aged in new, charred American oak barrels and then receives an additional six-month finish in port wine casks, adding depth and fruity nuances.

Ezra Brooks 99 is also a sour mash bourbon – a method where part of the previous fermentation is reused in the next batch, creating consistency and complexity in the flavor. After distillation, the whiskey is charcoal filtered, contributing to a smooth and rounded mouthfeel.

The result is a rich and well-balanced bourbon with notes of caramel, vanilla, spices, and a subtle sweetness from the port cask finish.
