Gordon & MacPhail Whisky

Gordon & MacPhail likely has the world's largest selection of malt whisky and is still under the secure management of the Urquhart family. Gordon & MacPhail store their casks partly in their own warehouses in Elgin and partly on-site, i.e., where the whisky is distilled. Often, Gordon & MacPhail take their own barrels to be filled with newly distilled "whisky." For example, Gordon & MacPhail is one of the few companies, perhaps the only one, that sherry matures Caol Ila "on location."
