Velier is an Italian Import and Distributor, headed up by rum aficionado Luca Gargano. Luca is one of the leading faces within the rum world, and is renowned for his independent bottlings and partnerships with some of the best distilleries in the Caribbean.

Velier have been pioneers in bringing small batch Full Strength, 100% Tropically aged rums to the market, as well as promoting transparency. Praised by bringing rare Demerara Rums, such as Skeldon 1978, and the now legendary Caroni releases, Velier continue to push the rum world forwards.

Foursquare Indomitas 15 Year Old Single Blended Rum from Barbados is a powerful and characterful release created for enthusiasts who value depth, authenticity and uncompromising tropical ageing. It is produced as a true Single Blended Rum, combining both pot still intensity and the smooth elegance of column distillation in a balanced and complex profile. With 15 years of maturation in Barbados’ warm climate, the rum develops a richness and maturity that only genuine tropical ageing can deliver.

The flavour profile is deep and dry with clear layers of dried fruit, citrus, roasted nuts and oak. The bourbon casks contribute notes of vanilla, caramel and coconut, while the cognac casks add a more fruity and refined vinous character. Just before the family sold the distillery, the last owner made this special rum. It was then named Last Ward. It has no added sugar.

Velier Guyana 2004 High Proof – Small Batch is an exclusive rum release from Velier, created in collaboration with Demerara Distillers Ltd in Guyana. The series is built on Luca Gargano’s decades‑long work with Demerara rum and his vision of preserving authentic tropical ageing directly at the distillery. This bottling marks a return after several years of pause and consists of a blend of three rums, the youngest distilled in 2004.

The rum is made from molasses, aged 100% tropically and bottled at 53.1%. Only 2,907 bottles were produced. It combines classic Demerara character with deep complexity and a rich, rounded flavour profile.

The aroma offers caramelised apricot, tarte tatin and prune, while the palate is full‑bodied and smooth with notes of chocolate, apricot, honey and delicate floral nuances. The finish is creamy and layered with roasted mango, flambéed banana, raisins and blood orange, rounded off with ginger and a touch of salt.

Guyana 2004 High Proof is a tribute to the historic Demerara style – a rum with depth, balance and a clear tropical signature, crafted for collectors and connoisseurs.
