Westward brews its whiskey using ale yeast and matures it in new, charred American oak, a method markedly different from both Scotch single malt and traditional bourbon.

Production & Style

The whisky is distilled from 100% malted barley using brewer's yeast rather than traditional distiller's yeast, giving a more ester-rich, fruity distillate matured in new American oak casks.
