Balcones Texas WhiskyBalcones is an American distillery located in Waco, Texas. As one of the leading distilleries on the Texas whiskey scene, Balcones Whisky produces unique quality whiskies from the finest ingredients.The first Balcones distillery was ready for production in 2009, housed in a former welding shop under a bridge in Waco, Texas. Just six years later, in 2015, the company moved to a larger and brand-new distillery, allowing Balcones Whisky to increase production to a full 350,000 liters of whiskey per year. This relatively young distillery has experienced massive growth and has already won numerous awards for their fantastic whiskies in its short lifespan. The distillery’s prestigious reputation also earned them a mention in Forbes on the occasion of Balcones' 10th anniversary back at the end of 2018. Balcones Whisky boasts a range of classics like Texas Single Malt and Texas Rye 100 Proof in their arsenal of quality whiskies, but the distillery also releases a series of special annual whiskies once a year. Additionally, Balcones Whisky occasionally produces some special whiskies that are extremely limited in number and, in most cases, never re-released. |
