About Ginato Gin

Ginato Gin is distilled in Ravenna in the Emilia Romagna region, known for its coastal towns and its gastronomy. For newcomers it's a fresh, citrus-driven gin with clear Italian character; for connoisseurs it's interesting that the distillery consistently tries to connect Italian history and local ingredients in every release, setting Ginato apart from more classic British London Dry styles.

History & Background

Ginato was established in Ravenna with a clear purpose: to create a gin that could tell Italy's story through the country's ingredients, rather than simply copying the British gin tradition. The Emilia Romagna region, known for its rich gastronomy and historic towns, became the natural starting point for the distillery's botanicals. Since launching, Ginato has built a range that connects specific Italian landscapes and flavours with the gin category.

Production & Style

Ginato is distilled with wine grapes as a central botanical, giving the gin a softer, more aromatic character than classic grain- or molasses-based gins.
