A powerful blend from three of Jamaica's most respected distilleries, bottled at navy strength as a tribute to the old naval rum tradition.
Expert Description
Navy Island Rum Navy Strength Jamaica is a Jamaican Rum from multiple distilleries, bottled at 57%.
The rum is a blend of distillates from Hampden, Monymusk and Worthy Park, three of Jamaica's most respected producers, each contributing its own style to the overall character. Bottling at 57% follows the historic "navy strength" tradition, where rum was bottled strong enough that gunpowder could still ignite if it was doused in spilled rum aboard a naval ship.
