Citadelle Gin

In the French town of Cognac, better known for grapes than juniper, the Ferrand family holds onto a gin recipe dating back to 1775. Revived in 1996, Citadelle is still distilled on an old pot still from 1771, a technical link to the past few other gin houses can match. With 19 different botanicals sourced from around the world, the family insists that French gin deserves just as much respect as French cognac.
