Adnams Southwold English Whisky

You may know Adnams from their excellent selection of beers which they’ve been producing since 1872, but since 2010, they’ve also been trying their hand at making spirits too. Not only that, they’re pretty marvellous spirits indeed! The Adnams Copper House Distillery is equipped with a spectacularly shiny Carl still, fermentation vessels (instead of traditional washbacks - admire a picture of them to your right) and plenty of local grains with which to distill their vodka, gin, whisky, liqueur and even an eau-de-vie made using the aforementioned Broadside Bitter. Very quickly, their Adnams Copper House Dry Gin became a particular favourite, taking home the IWSC Trophy in 2013, only three years after Adnams started distilling!
