    You'll encounter aromas of chocolate, coffee and honey, which come together in an orgy of dark, rich and malty flavors.
    La Choulette was founded in 1885 and is run today, as it was then, in a very old-fashioned and traditional "farmhouse style". The specialty is the so-called Bières de Garde, which are full-bodied, rich beers. The small brewery is run by Alain Dhaussy and his wife Martine. Alain took over the brewery from his grandfather in the late 1970s and has since carried on in the old traditional style that has made the brewery known as one of the very best in France.
