  Amaro Bitter Orange from Nonino is an elegant, smooth and aromatic bitter that perfectly demonstrates why the Nonino family is considered one of Italy’s most respected producers. This edition earned an impressive 96 points in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2021, where it was also recommended, awarded the Chairman’s Trophy and placed among the Top 100 Spirits – a rare achievement for a bitter in this category.

  The flavour is rounded, gently sweet‑bitter and beautifully harmonious. It combines a silky texture with a refined orange profile, where both fresh and candied orange peel meet warm spices and subtle herbal complexity. Aged for up to five years in oak barrels, it gains depth, softness and a natural warmth in the finish.

  The colour is bright golden with a hint of copper, and the aroma offers orange, herbs and a mild sweetness that makes it both inviting and versatile. It is excellent as an aperitif served over ice with a slice of orange in a tumbler, and it also works as a refined alternative to classic bitters like Angostura in cocktails where a softer, more fruit‑driven profile is desired.
