Reinheart Rye Whiskey

Reinheart Rye Whiskey is a new Danish project where the raw spirit is produced in Germany, but the aging and cask selection take place at Vintre Mølle Distillery in Denmark. This is also where the gin variants from Hammer & Son by Henrik Hammer are produced. Hammer & Son is best known as the producer of Geranium Gin and Old English Gin.

Reinheart Rye Whiskey was developed in collaboration with Terkel Kleist and Kristian Kramp – two skilled industry professionals and whiskey connoisseurs.

Reinheart Rye Whiskey has been aged and bottled at Vintre Mølle, where Henrik Hammer and the rest of the distillery have carefully looked after the barrels for a full 6 years before the rye whiskey is bottled at 45%. This is Batch 1 of their new series: Reinheart Small Batch Rye Whiskey.
