Sheridan's Coffee Liqueur

A white chamber and a dark one, separate until you pour, united in the glass: Sheridan's two-chamber bottle is as much a work of art as a coffee liqueur. It's design that tells a story before you've even tasted it.

    Sheridan's Coffee Liqueur

Sheridan's Coffee Liqueur was introduced back in 1994 and produced in Dublin by Tomas Sheridan & Sons. The unique feature of this likør is the bottle, which is divided into two separate sections. One contains a black likør with coffee and whisky flavors, and the other contains a white likør which is rich in white chocolate notes, all rounded off with a chocolate, nutty finish. When Sheridan's Likør is poured into a low-ball glass, the white likør will settle on top of the black likør. Manufacturer: Sheridan's Age: NA Type: Coffee liqueur Alc. strength: 15.5% 100 cl.

About Sheridan's Kaffelikør

Sheridan's is a coffee liqueur just as famous for its unique two-chamber bottle, a dark coffee liqueur and a white vanilla liqueur, as for the taste itself. For newcomers the bottle is a fun, visual experience that makes the liqueur a natural cocktail ingredient; for connoisseurs it's interesting that Sheridan's, since its 1994 launch, has retained its distinctive two-part packaging as a striking counterpoint to the category's more single-toned competitors.

History & Background

Sheridan's launched in 1994 with a clear aim to stand out in a liqueur category otherwise often dominated by single-toned bottles with uniform flavour. The two-part bottle, with a dark coffee liqueur in one chamber and a white vanilla liqueur in the other, was developed so consumers could blend the ratio between the two flavours to their own taste. The concept quickly became a commercial success and has since made Sheridan's one of the most recognisable names in the coffee liqueur category.

Production & Style

The dark side is made with coffee extract and alcohol, the pale side with cream and vanilla, and each is filled into its own chamber in the bottle, separated by an internal wall that only breaks when you pour.

Signature Style

Coffee-driven, Creamy, Sweetish
Roasted coffee and dark chocolate in one half, soft vanilla and cream in the other, together giving a balanced, dessert-like experience.

Did You Know?

The two-chamber bottle means you can adjust the balance of coffee and vanilla yourself by pouring more from one side or the other, depending on how sweet or bitter a drink you're after.
