Brockmans Gin

Brockmans calls itself the unconventional English gin, and the name isn't empty words. By distilling juniper alongside dark berries like blueberries and blackberries, instead of relying solely on citrus, the house has created an unusually fruity profile within an otherwise classic premium recipe. It's a deliberate break with the dry, sharp English gin tradition, built to work just as well in a Martini as in a simple gin and tonic.

Where most gins let juniper lead, Brockmans flips the formula and lets blueberries and blackberries take the starring role.

    Expert's description

Brockmans Premium English Gin is an English gin distilled from 11 botanicals and bottled at 40%.

The recipe includes juniper, blueberries, blackberries, cassia bark, liquorice, lemon peel, coriander seed, angelica root, orange peel, almonds and orris.

By dialling down juniper's usual dominance and lifting the berries forward, the distillery creates a softer, more fruit-forward style than a classic London Dry.

The result is a gin often described as surprisingly smooth and complex, with fresh blackberries and raspberries in front rather than the typical juniper sharpness.

About Brockmans Gin

By distilling juniper alongside dark berries rather than citrus alone, Brockmans has created a gin with a slightly sweeter, more fruity profile that works well in modern cocktails like a Brockmans Martini.

History & Background

The brand was developed as a deliberate attempt to break with the traditional, very dry English gin style, introducing berries as a central flavour component rather than just citrus and herbs.

Production & Style

Juniper is infused with botanicals, including blueberry and blackberry, on a base of neutral grain spirit, a process that gives the gin its characteristic dark fruitiness.

Signature Style

Fruity, Berry-driven, Premium
Dark berries like blueberry and blackberry meet classic juniper, in a sweeter, more fruity profile than traditional English gin.
