  Rammstein Rum is a Rum, blended from pot still rum from Jamaica and Guyana plus column still rum from Trinidad, matured 12 years and bottled at 40% without added colour.

  The rum is associated with German rock band Rammstein, founded in 1994 and one of the world's most famous bands. The blend combines two pot still rums from Jamaica and Guyana, both highly valued by master blenders for their powerful body and deep aromas, with the more elegant column still rum from Trinidad, which tames the strong characters of the other two countries.

  Rammstein Limited Edition Cognac Cask Finish is a Rum from Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad, up to 12 years old with a finishing period on ex-cognac casks for 12 months, bottled at 46%.

  The rum is a blend of distillates from three of the Caribbean's most respected rum-producing countries. The base is aged up to 12 years, after which it is moved onto ex-cognac casks for a further 12 months. The cognac casks give the rum a softer, more grape-sweet character on top of the powerful, molasses-heavy base, particularly from Jamaica and Guyana. The release is limited to 5,800 bottles.

  The name is a nod to the German rock band, but the contents are pure Caribbean rum craftsmanship with no further connection to the music.

  Expert Description

  Rammstein Rum Limited Edition Limoux Cask Finish is a Blended Rum from Jamaica and Guyana, aged up to 12 years and finished in Limoux wine casks, bottled at 46%.

  The rum is assembled from carefully selected rum distillates from the Caribbean, which after their initial ageing receive an additional finish in casks from Limoux in the south of France. The extra cask time adds complex depth, where notes of ripe fruit, dark chocolate and spice merge with a light wine character and subtle sweetness. The release is limited to 6,100 bottles.

  Rammstein Rum was created in collaboration with the Danish spirits house 1423 and has since grown into its own series of limited rum releases with rotating cask finishes.

  Ripe fruit, dark chocolate and spice, with a light wine character from the Limoux casks.
