The result is a balanced rum with spicy notes and soft fruit notes. Aged in used Bourbon casks, Rammstein the rum has a slight hint of smoke and a nice warm dark color. Rammstein Limited Edition 2022 - Sauternes Cask Finish Rum from the iconic rock band French Ex-Sauterne Cask Finish Rum is the fourth rum in the series from Rammstein. The previous variants have received additional maturation in Islay Whisky casks and Cognac casks, with this edition having completed its maturation in French ex-Sauternes casks. The result is a rum with strong aromas of molasses and brown sugar, followed by subtle notes of walnut, orange and honey. The taste is fruity and tart with notes of orange and kumquat.
