JJ Whitley London Dry Gin is an English London Dry Gin, bottled at 38.6%.
The gin is built on eight botanicals: orange peel, lemon peel, juniper, angelica seeds, coriander seed, licorice, cassia bark and orris root.
The combination gives a peppery juniper character balanced by fresh peels and a touch of drying kitchen herbs.
The creamy, vanilla-tinged finish sets the gin apart from more one-dimensionally dry London Dry styles.
Tasting notes
Nose
The nose offers wonderful smoothness with clear notes of juniper, perfectly complemented by hints of citrus, spice and parma violets.
Palate
The palate is crisp and subtly peppery with an elegant hint of leafy coriander, clean lemon and fragrant basil.
Finish
