Kiyoko originates from the mountainous southern regions of Japan along the Pacific Ocean, where large temperature fluctuations and abundant sunlight create the perfect conditions for cultivating yuzu – one of Japan’s rarest citrus fruits. In keeping with centuries-old traditions, each yuzu is handpicked and immediately pressed to preserve its optimal freshness. Kiyoko’s yuzu juice is completely pure, with no additives or artificial flavors. Finally, Kiyoko’s toji (master brewer) expertly balances the fresh yuzu juice with Junmai sake. The premium Gohyakumangoku rice, combined with the pure Miyamizu water from Mount Rokkō, gives the Junmai sake its distinctive crisp and vibrant aroma. |
