Lewis & Clark Whiskey

A distillery in wild Montana, named after explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, whose expedition crossed this land in the early 1800s. Here, American whiskey is distilled with roots in the pioneering spirit and vast wilderness of the Northwest. The name is a tribute to curiosity and self-reliance - values the distillery also pours into the bottle.

About Lewis & Clark

Lewis & Clark Distillery is based in Montana and named after explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. For newcomers, it's an approachable, rounded, spicy American whiskey; for the curious collector, one of the lesser-known names from the Pacific Northwest's growing but still niche whiskey scene, where local ingredients and independent distilleries are on the rise.

History & Background

The distillery is based in Montana, a state with a short but fast-growing whiskey tradition compared to America's classic whiskey states. Its name honors Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, whose famous expedition crossed this land in the early 1800s in search of a route to the Pacific. Like the explorers, the distillery draws on local resources, building its production around ingredients from the surrounding Northwest. It is part of a new wave of American craft distilleries that emerged outside the classic whiskey states in the 2000s and 2010s.

Production & Style

The distillery makes whiskey alongside vodka and gin, focusing on local ingredients from the American Northwest.

Signature Style

Round, Spicy, Earthy
The whiskey offers a round, spicy character with an earthy finish.
