Founded in 2019, Merser & Co. is the first rum blending house in London in over a century. They focus on reviving the tradition of rum blending in the city. The name "Merser" comes from the old English word for "merchant," reflecting their trading heritage.
Merser & Co. sources fine rums from various Caribbean countries, including Barbados, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. These rums are then brought to London, where they are blended and rested for up to six months in oak casks. This process allows the flavors to harmonize and develop a depth and complexity that is characteristic of their products.
