Cedar Ridge Distillery WhiskeyJeff Quint comes from a family rooted in agriculture and the cultivation of corn.In 2005, he founded Cedar Ridge Distillery, the first licensed distillery in Iowa, since the prohibition period in the 1920s. The basic idea behind the distillery is that Iowa, as the state, is the largest producer of corn in the entire United States, and therefore, of course, a bourbon whiskey should come from here as well. The distillery has since won numerous awards for its production, the American Distilling Institute's "2017 Distiller of the Year" and "Best American Craft Whiskey" at the 2016 New York World Spirits Competition. In addition to bourbon whiskey, they also create both rye whiskey and single malt whiskey. |
