  The E & K by Adelphi 5 Year Old Fusion of Indian and Scotch Malt Whisky is bottled by the Scottish independent bottler Adelphi at 5 years old and 57.8%.

  The whisky combines Indian and Scotch malt whisky in a single expression, a fusion that shows how two vastly different climates and traditions can meet in the same glass. Only 800 bottles of this release exist, making it a rare guest on the shelf.

  Nose

  The nose is complex with malt, honey and a hint of tropical fruit from the Indian component.

  Palate

  The palate is powerful and spicy with caramel, toasted malt and a fine balance between the two whisky styles.

  Finish

  The finish is long and warm with a closing dryness.

  The Glover 4 Year Old Batch 5 by Adelphi is a Fusion of Japanese and Scotch Malt Whisky, bottled at cask strength of 54.7%.

  Behind the bottle is the Scottish independent bottler Adelphi, which, together with Fusion Whisky, created The Glover series: a fusion of Scotch malt from Adelphi's own Ardnamurchan Distillery and Japanese malt from Chichibu Distillery. The name honours Thomas Blake Glover, the Briton who played a decisive role in opening Japan to the West.

  Nose

  Peaty smoke meets delicate Japanese fruit sweetness and a touch of honey.

  Palate

  Powerful and spiced with dried fruit, pepper and a distinct smoky core from the Scotch side of the blend.

  The whisky is named after Thomas Blake Glover, a Scottish businessman who played a central role in opening Japan to the West at the end of the Edo period. Adelphi Selection, an independent Scottish bottler founded in 1993, composed this fusion of Japanese and Scotch malt whisky as a tribute to Glover's historic ties between the two countries.

  The Sandebud by Adelphi is a Blended Malt Whisky combining Ardnamurchan and High Coast, bottled at 58.9%.

  Adelphi owns the Ardnamurchan distillery, the westernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland, and with The Sandebud has paired a spirit from there with a spirit from Sweden's High Coast. The result is an unusual fusion that bridges two landscapes and two distilling traditions in one bottle.

  The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, and with 1,136 bottles it is the most accessible of Adelphi's special series, without compromising the cask-strength intensity the bottler is known for.

  Tasting Notes

  Nose

  A combination of freshly cut oak and a hint of smoke, hinting at the two spirits' different origins.

  Palate

  Full-bodied and complex with caramel, malt and a light salty, maritime undercurrent that ties the two styles together.
