Olmeca TequilaThere are 3 Olmeca tequilas, all of which come from Pernod Ricard - unless you bought it from Whisky.dk. Then it comes from our store.Olmeca is a mix of tequila. Olmeca Altos, which is a 100% Agave Tequila and Olmeca Tezón, which is a 100% agave and 100% Tahona Tequila. Within these types, as with other tequilas, there is a blanco, a reposado and other good examples. Tahona Tequila means that the tequila is produced by grinding the core of the agave plant under a 2 ton heavy volcanic rock and extracting the sweet juice here from the fibers. There is a bit of this fuss in all Olmeca Tequilas, but Olmeca Tezón consists of this exclusive Tahona ONLY. Besides the method of preparation, there is also something antique about the bottle and not least the taste, of which the reposado version is best described as sweet as honey with a touch of black pepper. This is cool, but hold on ... Olmeca Dark Chocolate also exists !! A mix of cocoa beans and tequila. All the good flavors in one mouthful! We like. |
