Kilbeggan Whiskey

Kilbeggan has been distilling since 1757, making it one of the oldest licensed names in Irish whiskey history. The distillery once housed the world's oldest still-working waterwheel, which still powers part of production to this day. After a period of closure, Kilbeggan was rescued by Cooley founder John Teeling and later Beam Suntory, and the name now lives on as one of Ireland's most historic brands.

    This 5cl miniature has a fine aroma of caramel, vanilla and toasted wood. On the palate come pleasant notes of almonds, nougat, peach and vanilla, before a long, lightly dry finish sets in with further tones of oak. Like the Irish people, Kilbeggan is easy going and approachable, yet has its own distinctive style. Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey is Cooley's flagship and is best enjoyed neat or as the perfect partner for an Irish Coffee.
