Bivrost Arctic Gin Bivrost Arctic Gin was launched in 2016 as the first gin to be produced at the Aurora Spirit Distillery in Norway - the world's northernmost distillery. The name 'Bivrost' is derived from two ancient Norse words - 'biv' meaning 'shaking' and 'rost' meaning 'road'. 'Bivrost' is the Viking word for the Northern Lights, once thought to be a magical bridge between heaven and earth. The gin is distilled using traditional botanicals in combination with arctic botanicals, before the addition of Norwegian glacial water. |
