Ginbraltar Gin

Ginbraltar is Spanish gin with a name that nods to the Rock of Gibraltar at the gateway to the Mediterranean. Each variant is distilled four times and built on its own set of botanicals.
  • Bottle of Ginbraltar Eucalyptus Gin from Spain
    Item no.: 2222786539-7018

Eucalyptus is the botanical that gives this Spanish gin both its name and its signature character, a refreshing finish to an otherwise classic gin recipe.

    Expert's description

Ginbraltar Eucalyptus Gin is a Spanish Dry Gin, quadruple-distilled and bottled at 40%.

The gin was born from a recipe by chef Enrique Bardavío and is distilled four times in a small copper still with 11 botanicals.

Despite the name pointing toward Gibraltar, the gin is 100% Spanish-made.

Fresh notes of citrus, coriander and ginger open the palate, followed by spices such as nutmeg, cloves, allspice and cardamom, before juniper, angelica root and the signature eucalyptus round it off.

    Tasting notes

About Ginbraltar Gin

Ginbraltar is distilled in southern Spain and stands apart from many other Spanish gins by offering a whole small universe of variants, each with its own flavour profile, from citrus to eucalyptus. Quadruple distillation gives extra purity, suiting both a simple gin and tonic and more experimental drinks.

History & Background

Ginbraltar was developed in Spain's southernmost region, where Mediterranean and Atlantic climates meet, reflected in botanicals like citrus and eucalyptus. By giving each variant its own quadruple distillation, the producer created a range where every bottle has a clear focus rather than being variations on one theme.

Production & Style

The gin is distilled four times for maximum purity, with juniper joined by each variant's specific botanicals, ranging from citrus fruit to eucalyptus leaves.

Signature Style

Pure, Versatile, Experimental
A clean, carefully distilled gin where juniper meets shifting botanicals depending on variant, from fresh citrus to cool eucalyptus.
