Lowlands Aurora is a handcrafted London Dry Gin with citrus notes and a hint of warmth from cardamom. The gin is named after the first version distilled during the night. As the last drop ran out of the still, the sun rose over the distillery. This is how the gin got its name from the Roman goddess of the dawn, Aurora, who is the sister of both the sun and the moon. Enjoy it in a classic Gin & Tonic with a slice of lime as a garnish. History & Background

Lowlands emerged in the flatlands of West Jutland as part of the wave of Danish micro-distilleries that have spent the last decade experimenting with local ingredients and new flavour profiles. Its location by Skjern Enge, one of Denmark's largest nature reserves, has given the distillery unique access to wild herbs and plants used in the gin's recipe.

Production & Style

The gin is distilled with juniper as its base, joined by wild botanicals harvested in and around Skjern Enge, giving a clear West Jutland terroir character.
