The Ileach Whisky

The Ileach comes from a distillery nobody will officially name – an Islay whisky rooted in the island's heavy, peat-driven tradition, sold under a pseudonym to keep the price down and the mystery up. It's smoky, complex, and unpretentious, made for anyone who loves the Islay character but doesn't want to pay for the label. That very anonymity has become part of its cult status.

About The Ileach

The Ileach is a peated blended malt Scotch whisky whose name means "person from Islay" in Gaelic, and is known as an approachable entry point to the island's characteristic smoky style.

History & Background

The Ileach is a blended Islay whisky where the identity of the distillery behind it is traditionally kept undisclosed, a shared practice among several Islay blends designed to give consumers an authentic, peaty Islay experience without the price tag that comes with a named single malt. The name "Ileach" simply means "a person from Islay" in Gaelic.

Production & Style

The whisky blends peated malts from Islay with no age statement, giving a consistent, smoky character.

Signature Style

Peated, Smoky, Full-Bodied
The whisky offers a peated, smoky character with a full-bodied finish.
