In 1943, Don César García set out to make a tequila he'd actually want to drink himself. Eight decades on, that same ambition lives on in Reserva del Señor, one of the old-guard Jalisco tequila houses that still holds onto the craft.
Expert Description
Reserva del Señor Tequila Blanco is a 100% agave Mexican Blanco Tequila bottled at 38%.
The house behind the bottle dates back to 1943 and today forms part of the Spanish Caballero Group, which carries the Jalisco tradition forward. The Blanco expression is the purest in the range: bottled shortly after distillation with no cask ageing, so the full, unfiltered character of the blue agave comes through. The agave is sourced from the highlands of Jalisco, known for their mineral-rich soil and notably sweet agave.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Clean, cooked agave with a touch of citrus and fresh herbs.
Palate
