The first edition of his tribute series launched in 2007, hand-picked by Parker himself from Heaven Hill's stock of over 700,000 barrels, and sold out shortly after release. Parker Beam was later diagnosed with ALS but continued contributing to the series until his son Craig Beam and other family members took up the legacy, ensuring Parker's Heritage Collection continues as a living tribute to his life's work.
