  Herencia De Plata Anejo Tequila is a 100% Agave Mexican Anejo Tequila bottled at 38%.

  The tequila is produced by Tequilas del Señor at the Río de Plata Distillery in Guadalajara, Jalisco, founded in 1943. The Herencia De Plata brand was launched in 1997 and is today produced by a fourth-generation family-owned house. The Anejo is aged for 18 months in barrels that previously held bourbon, giving it its deep golden colour and rounded character.

  Tasting Notes

  Nose

  Buttery butterscotch and crème caramel with cedarwood, cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of black pepper.

  Palate

  Sweet vanilla, caramel and marshmallow balanced by dry oak, cinnamon and black pepper.

  Finish

  Leathery, with a final touch of cracked black pepper.

  The tequila is produced by Tequilas del Señor at the Río de Plata Distillery in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The distillery was founded in 1943 by Don César García, who emigrated from Asturias in Spain to Mexico at just 16. The Herencia De Plata brand was launched in 1997. The Reposado rests for at least three months in oak barrels, giving it its soft character and light golden colour.

  Nose

  Buttery vanilla and a touch of leather, spiced with cinnamon and white pepper.

  Palate

  Soft vanilla and a creamy character, met by sweet cedar, black pepper and a touch of tobacco leaf.
