  Oksen Baton de Canelle Entier is a French Spiced Rum from Martinique, infused with whole cinnamon sticks and bottled at 40%.

  The Oksen family macerates whole cinnamon sticks sourced from Madagascan farming cooperatives, chosen both for quality and for environmental and social sustainability, directly in an agricole-based rum from Martinique. Because the cinnamon is added whole rather than as powder or extract, the flavour draws out more slowly and evenly into the rum, giving a cleaner, more authentic spice character.

  Tasting notes

  Nose

  Intense and almost entirely dominated by cinnamon, so powerful the rum comes across as almost spicy-sharp on the nose.

  Palate

  Christmas-pudding-like sweetness with raisins, cinnamon and orange, tying the flavour together in a warm, spiced whole.

  Finish

  Warm and spiced with cinnamon as a persistent undercurrent.
