Arensbak Red is an alcohol-free, kombucha-based drink from Denmark with an alcohol content of 0.0%. Like the Blanc edition, Red belongs to the "proxy-wine" category, where the drink is built from scratch based on fermented tea instead of grapes, aiming to mimic red wine's structure, tannin impression and gastronomic potential. Arensbak was founded by sommelier Emilie Ost-Jacobsen, fermentation specialist Bram Kerkhof and Christian Arensbak, and has gained international recognition, including at the World Alcohol-free Awards.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Forest floor, mushrooms and earth on the nose.

Palate

Notes of baked strawberries, oak and liquorice on the palate.

Finish

The finish is velvety, fruity and dry.

Serving & Food Pairing
