  Mosgaard 8 Year Whisky.dk 2026 PX Cask is an organic Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 58.5% exclusively for Whisky.dk in 2026. The whisky has been matured for 8 years on Pedro Ximenez sherry casks – a cask type derived from the PX grape in Jerez, which produces the sweetest and most intensive type of sherry. PX casks impart enormous amounts of sweetness, dark fruit and dried raisins to a distillate, and 8 years of contact delivers a deep and uncompromising cask influence. Bottled in 50 cl format.

  Tasting notes

  Nose

  Intensely sweet PX sherry with dried raisins, dark chocolate and cream. A nose that lingers before you even open the bottle. Rich and uncompromising.

  Palate

  Full-bodied and intense at 58.5% with extreme sweetness from the PX cask. Raisins, dark plums and coffee notes from the rich sherry character. A drop of water is necessary for greater enjoyment.

  Finish

  Very long and persistent with a dark, chocolatey sweetness and dried fruit at the close.
