Mosgaard 8 Year Old Whisky Fair 2026 Oloroso Quarter Cask is a Danish Single Malt Whisky matured in an Oloroso sherry quarter cask, bottled at 59.8% to mark Whiskymessen 2026. Mosgaard Whisky was founded in 2015 by Gitte and Jes Mosgaard on the Danish island of Funen, on a former farm overlooking apple orchards and the Langeland Sound. The distillery works exclusively with organic raw materials, including organic Danish barley from Gyrup Malteri, and won the award for Best Danish Distillery three years running at the Berlin International Spirits Competition (2019-2021). Quarter casks are smaller than standard barrels, giving the whisky greater contact with the wood and driving faster, more intense maturation.
