About Black & White

Black & White represents the classic, easy-drinking blended Scotch that turned Scotch whisky into a global product in the late 1800s. History & Background

James Buchanan, a Scotch whisky merchant based in London, launched the blend in 1884 under the name 'Buchanan's Blend', but it quickly earned the nickname 'Black & White' because of its dark bottle and white label.
