  The whisky was distilled on 7 July 2007 and bottled in 2015 by the independent bottler Spirit & Cask from a single cask, Barrel #0035, with an outturn of just 294 bottles.

  Nose

  Green apple, grain and a light honey sweetness.

  Palate

  Soft and rounded with pear and vanilla.

  The whisky was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2021 by Murray McDavid as part of the Benchmark series, with an outturn of 1,338 bottles. It matured in a bourbon hogshead and received a finishing period of 16 months in 1st fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, giving a delicate, fruit-driven character with clear sherry notes.

  Tullibardine 225 Sauternes Finish Single Highland Malt Whisky 70 cl 43% is a Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in Ex-bourbon casks with a 12-month finish in 225-litre ex-Sauternes casks from Château Suduiraut and bottled at 43%.

  After a long maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is transferred to 225-litre ex-Sauternes casks from the renowned Château Suduiraut, a Premier Cru Classé. A further 12 months of maturation follows, creating an elegant, golden whisky with no added caramel colouring, true to Tullibardine's philosophy.

  After a long maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is transferred to 500-litre ex-sherry butts for a further 12 months of maturation. This has created a deep, dark brown whisky with notes of malt sweets and green apples, tied together with vanilla, dates and spice.
