Gunroom 12 Botanicals Gin is an English London Dry Gin, bottled at 40%.
The gin is built on twelve botanicals: coriander seeds, juniper berries, orris root, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel, lemon zest, angelica root, liquorice, savory and almonds.
The combination of nutmeg, cinnamon and coriander seed gives the gin a distinctly spicy character, while orange peel comes through more prominently on the palate than on the nose.
The gin is typically enjoyed with plenty of ice, where the orange notes come out particularly well.

The nose offers citrus fruits, spices, lavender and a subtle floral note, with juniper and orange distinctly noticeable.
Palate

The gin is inspired by the historic transport method, where alcohol was shipped in barrels and thereby gained a characteristic cask imprint in both flavour and aroma.
This edition has been aged in old whisky casks for between 45 and 60 days, giving it a lovely subtle taste of vanilla.
The cask ageing is complemented by the classic juniper notes, which remain the gin's backbone.
