House of Elrick Gin

House of Elrick is the Scottish estate gin distilled right on the grounds of the manor whose name it bears, in Aberdeenshire. Here, gin isn't an industrial recipe but part of an old Scottish estate tradition, where the garden and surrounding fields supply botanicals to the stills. This is gin with a very literal connection to the land.

About House of Elrick Gin

With only 600 bottles per batch, House of Elrick is one of the most exclusive small releases in this collection, closer to a collector's curiosity than an everyday G&T gin.

History & Background

The Elrick estate in the Aberdeenshire lowlands has, according to tradition, housed gin distilling since the 1720s, a history that gives the brand a rare patina of authenticity in a category where most new brands are far younger.

Production & Style

Distillation takes place in a pot still and in very small batches, with a recipe the distillery says has remained unchanged and secret for generations.

Signature Style

Historic, Exclusive, Rare
A classic pot-still character with an old-fashioned, earthy edge, quite different from many of the newer, more citrus-driven gins.
