Because Stroh is not distilled from sugarcane molasses in the traditional Caribbean manner, it cannot legally be called rum in every market, which is why in Austria it carries the historic designation "Inländer Rum." At 80%, it is primarily intended for the kitchen, in baking, mulled wine and hot toddies, rather than as a dram consumed neat. This bottle is a 20cl size.
